After meeting on an online dating site, we decided to go on a date. Steve must have really liked me, knowing that he does not stand it when people are late. It was only 10 minutes ;) (depending on whom you ask)
Since then, I am mostly on time for events xoxo
Engagement

Steve had arranged the most romantic getaway over 27-29 June 2022 in Pilansberg. With no hint or surprises spilled, we went for lunch on our second day. I was so surprised that they would allow us in already, because we were there too early - no surprise there - its Steve. Little did I know that he pre-arranged a setting with a view! When I actually saw the set table- I knew something was about to happen - in that moment, my English-brain was down. I just thought “O jinne, hier is dit nou”
We sat down, cool and calm, and for the first time in my life, I did not have much to say. His words were: “Before we eat, there is something that I want to ask you.” He went down on one knee, I started to cry and then, of course, I said yes!
